Have you used it? You can actually type quite fast with it

Just got my iPhone and I'm loving it.

What I've done re: the 8GB Storage is just make a smart playlist in iTunes which syncs 6Gb of music and still leaves a bit of overhead for whatever else.

Typing on it's really nice. The only draw back is I don't think the amount of minutes/texts is really that great, but the voice clarity etc on it is brilliant (although I've not tried on the head set).

I also love the double click the mic to skip tracks and single click to pause. The lack of 3g hasn't bothered me. If I ever email heavily from it I'm usually in a wifi zone (and it has free The Cloud wifi too). It tries to use SSL for email by default. Emailing on it is really easy to type and the dictionary does stuff like grammar checking so you can make pretty decent looking emails with little effort.

The iPhone is brilliant, a little expensive, but definitely the best phone I've used. That said I'm still keeping a k800i for data for stuff like my TomTom/Laptop on T-Mobile PAYG

(Yes, I know I brought up an old thread)

I got an iPhone for Christmas - it's very nice - I really do like it, having 3g is no problem as we don't have 3g signal around here anyway (we don't have Edge either!)
I like the way Safari works by being able to zoom in to the page - very good quality screen too.

I am so tempted to get an iPhone but until they put the ability to act as a modem for my MacBook Pro in it I'm going to stay away. Copy/paste and Flash Lite would be nice. Not so bothered about 3G, coverage is kind of pants round here anyway and I struggle to get a 2G in my house (that's that foot thick walls do!).
The interface is really impressive and even get on with the keyboard (I can type perfectly on it in landscape and I can probably do it in portrait with a bit of practise, the keys are just slightly too small for my liking).
There is no way I'm going on that O2 contract though, talk about overpriced. I think I'm going to wait to see what v1.5/2.0 and the SDK bring.
