We seem to have lost a page rank point over the weekend - we went from PR4 to PR3. (www.tsohost.co.uk)

What might have caused this, and what effect might this have on our search engine rankings?

There was a page rank update recently:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...e+Search&meta=

You don't really have the backlinks to be pushing PR4.

I wouldn't worry too much, Page Rank isn't considered the be-all anymore.

What, completely? If so - why is it still there?

its only an estimate of how well you might do overall.

If your targeting keywords properly it is irrelevent

My full stop? Its there (now!).

But the your/you're thing is different - its completely the wrong word, and just a pet hate of mine.
